Philadelphia - A series that went the distance, Brian Boucher made similarly in game 7.
Backed by a burst of goals first, Boucher gets another series to prove that he is the goalkeeper who can lead the Flyers to their first Stanley Cup since 1975.
Boucher stopped 26 shots and Philadelphia advanced to the semifinals of the Conference with a 5-2 victory on the Buffalo Sabres in the seventh game of their first round series is Tuesday night.
"It will be days when things did not go your way," Boucher said, but you must play through it. ?

Boucher made his first game 7 start for the Flyers since 2000 against the New Jersey East final. He bounced around five other teams and is its third stop in the Organization of Flyers.

"They got the puck in the net, they got rebounds, and we could not get something going and was unable to cash up to the third", said Miller.
The fast start and solid guard play were part of a winning tiercé necessary for the Flyers. The third came on the power play, which Briere and van Riemsdyk entered their goals. The Flyers were 1 for 20 at home in this series and 3 for 31 overall.
