Woods, on crutches, is expected to play in US Open

Tiger Woods, said that he will be ready to go to the US Open.

Good thing for Woods it is time to be in good health.

Great golf not hit a ball in about two weeks. Woods need crutches and a walk to start in relief on his left leg aching. It is the formation of leg from even beginning to the end of next week.

But Woods is expected to tee off at the US Open, 16-19 June at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD.

"You play only through these things, said Woods." There is a difference between pain and injury. ?

Which is why Woods has close itself to prepare for the big.

Woods is bothered by pain in his left knee, Achilles tendon, has left his calf, tightening and has a lower sore back. He says that physicians did not mention the leg surgery. But he doubts he will play Memorial week next to Dublin, Ohio.

Woods said that he will start training by the end of next week. How his leg responds will determine when he can start hitting balls again - everything but decision out of the Memorial.

"I had four surgeries on it," said Woods. "Obviously, this is not what it was when I was small."

This means that Woods would go to the US Open with little competition, although this is nothing new for him. In 2008, he had arthroscopic surgery after the masters and has not played before the US Open. Doctors discovered a double fracture of fatigue in his left tibia in the weeks preceding the major. Contrary to the advice of his doctor, Woods not only played the US Open, he won at Torrey Pines in a hole of 19 of the playoffs.

Now, he said that his left leg is not as bad as it was then.

His golf, however, is another story.

In 11 tournaments that Woods has played before the US Open, he won eight times, and was a finalist twice and has not finished in top five. In 11 tournaments before this US Open, he has only five finishes in the top 10.

Woods said he was more concerned about his health in 2008.

"I am much better," said Woods. "I feel that in the next week, I can start to get back to that and start swimming free pain.". This is where I am.

Woods spoke Tuesday to the Aronimink Golf Club to promote the National AT & T to come.

Woods withdrew after only nine holes this month at The Players Championship. He also fell for ranking top 10 for the first time in 14 years.

He has been no. 1 623 weeks of his career, by far the longest of any golfer since the ranking in 1986. He had been no. 1 June 2005, until that Lee Westwood of England has supplanted him last November.

"I not played." "This is one of the reasons that I have fallen that I", said Woods. "When I played, I not well played." Winning takes care of all this. ?

He acknowledged that he did come back too soon for the Players Championship. He was injured on the opening tee shot at Sawgrass. Status of Woods was first borderline for the tournament, but he supported on and did further damage. It risk further injury to the leg.

"It would be certainly great to come here and play tricks of practice," he said "to all the other prep I for the majors."

Not a chance this week, even on a beautiful Tuesday.

Woods posted on Twitter that he would give $ 1 million to his Foundation, if no journalist asked him on his leg. No there was no chance that the first question. More later displayed Woods on Twitter it would give money to.
