Tab Smith lightning as guardian of the fifth game against the Bruins

BOSTON - Coach Lightning of Tampa Bay Guy Boucher chose Mike Smith as goalkeeper start against the Boston Bruins for the fifth game of the Eastern Conference finals Monday.


Dwayne Roloson was shot with 2: 04 left in the first period of game 4 last Saturday after having given up three goals on nine shots. Smith came in relief and did not allow a goal as the entry of lightning return to beat the Bruins 5-3. The series-of-seven is related to the 2.
