Hank Steinbrenner, said that he is not angry that team captain Derek Jeter supported Jorge Posada. The co-Chair of the New York Yankees is not too pleased, however, with the way in which the team plays.
Posada himself fired out of the range over the weekend, saying that he needed a day off the coast, and a public spat ensued between the slumping slugger and the management of the club. Later, lay said that he saw nothing wrong with what has been his pal.
"I should not have a problem with that," Steinbrenner said Associated Press Monday. "They have known each other for a long time."
Steinbrenner said he was angry that the Yankees swept the weekend at home by Boston, leaving a trail of losing five games.
"It is at the beginning, but the team needs to bring together," Steinbrenner said. "We have too much talent to be swept by anyone at Yankee Stadium, even if we play the ' 27 Yankees." It is not acceptable. We need to start doing what I know we can do. ?
