Slam de Santana lifts Indians past Tigers, 9-5

 Carlos Santana hit a grand slam with one out in the ninth round to give Cleveland a victory of 9-5 on the Detroit Tigers as the Indians extended anxieties home victories in 11 games Friday night.

It was the last spectacular victory for the Indians, who crowded Santana at home plate after the lawn of Venezuelan baseball player led a 3-1 off Joaquin Benoit (0-1) on the wall right-field.
