Red Wings Beat sharks 3-1 to the game of Force 7

 Henrik Zetterberg and Valtteri Filppula scored less than two minutes apart in the third period, and the Red Wings Detroit rallied again for a 3-1 victory on the Sharks in San Jose Tuesday night, forcing a seventh game decisive after end 3-0 in the thrilling second-round series.

San Jose must defend the home ice Thursday night to avoid becoming the fourth NHL team to lose a series-of-seven having led 3-0. Logan Couture of San Jose scored early in the third period, but Zetterberg it is linked with 9: 22 remaining and Filppula scored the winner with 7: 28 left.


Darren Helm added an empty-net goal. All other games of the series was decided by a goal.


Detroit marks the last three goals of the fifth game to win 4-3.


The Red Wings are the second team this season to erase a 3-0 series hole. Chicago was in the first round before losing game 7 in Vancouver. Philadelphia all the way back last year in the second round, has just won the last four games against Boston.


These recent successes make the task seem much less intimidating.


Skating with confidence and despair, the Red Wings outshot San Jose 45-25, but they were about to disposal after sewing throws a rebound of flight and follow the puck past goalie Jimmy Howard with 16: 06 remaining. The puck barely crossed the goal line before Howard lined his glove, but the goal was, following a review.

The Red Wings were without RW Johan Franzen, who injured his left ankle in the fifth game. Veteran striker Mike Modano joined the range after having played in only one another this game of the playoffs. ... According to STATS LLC, four NHL teams have rallied from a 3-0 deficit, but lost a seventh game.
