Jalen Rose pleads guilty to drunk driving

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Michigan - Star former Michigan and player NBA Jalen Rose pleaded guilty Wednesday to driving while intoxicated, tell a judge he was embarrassed to admit that he had been drinking six martinis at night it is diverted on a snowy road rolled his Cadillac climbing.

A standout in basketball at Detroit Southwestern High School, the brash Rose was part of the famed Fab Five of Michigan, who has reached the NCAA title in 1992 and 1993 games. He spent 13 years in the NBA, reaching the final with Indiana in 2000.


Rose and the passenger were injured in the bearing off the coast of the two-lane Walnut Lake Road, approximately 20 kilometres northwest of Detroit. In a statement released on March 30, Rose said he was not "sense with impaired faculties" when the accident occurred.
