Hopkins becomes more former Champion at 46

 Bernard Hopkins became the oldest fighter to win a major world championship, taking the title light heavyweight WBC Saturday evening of Jean Pascal at the age of 46.

Hopkins (52-5-2) beat the record of age established by George Foreman in a victory title of heavyweight on Michael Moorer in 1994. Hopkins won in 46 years, 4 months, 6 days. President of the Board 45 years, 10 months.


"I withdraw until I am 50," said Hopkins.


He won titles magazines WBC, IBO and the ring of the old Pascal of 28 years (26-2-1), the Hunter of Montreal, which was his fifth before defence of 17,560 at the Bell Centre.
