Canucks beat predators in advance to the finals of the West

The Vancouver Canucks are eager for rest and relaxation.


The Canucks defeated the Predators in Nashville 2-1 in game 6 Monday night and have several days's going to before they happen the Detroit Red Wings or the San Jose Sharks in their first appearance in the final of the Western Conference since 1994.


This is a change in nice in less than 48 hours between their victory in overtime against the Chicago Blackhawks in game 7 of the first round and their 1-0 victory in the first conference semifinal game against Nashville.


"A few days between the series will be a good thing for us as much as our really high energy level," said Vancouver coach Alain Vigneault. "We will meet a real adversary, therefore a few days of rest Won't hurt."
