Freeman hit and had three hits, Jair Jurrjens launched skilfully in the seventh round and the Braves of Atlanta beat the Phillies for Philadelphia 5-2 Sunday night.
The day of the mother when much of players around the majors is pink wristbands and pink necklaces and used pink bats to show their support for the fight against cancer, Freeman was the only Starter either team with pink ears. The first 21 years old goal player was 10 when her mother died of melanoma.
"I think of him every day, but a little more today", said Freeman. "I hope that she is proud." "I wore all roses, as I could, necklace, bracelet and tips".
Alex Gonzalez and remplaceant Eric Hinske each had a shot of two-run for Atlanta, who took two of three in the series.
Run Jurrjens a permit (4-0) and eight strike in 6 1-3 sleeves to outduel Cole Hamels. Jurrjens was not allowed more than two runs earned early and has a 1.50 ERA.
"This is the team we want to fight", he said. "It's always exciting to go against the best and one of their aces."
Hamels (4-2) gave up three runs and five hits, removal of nine in seven rounds. Coming off the coast of a victory to complete the game on Washington, Hamels would have to go the distance if he had a lead. He threw 92 heights before being for a hitter.

Freeman led off the coast of the fifth with a solo shot to right to give the Braves a 3-1 lead. Hamels allowed just two homers all season before the Braves connected twice.

Freeman began a two-out rally in the second with a single. Gonzalez then drove a 2-1 field in the seats left for a 2-0 lead. Later, he left the game with a slight groin strain and is daily.
Hinske, pinch hitting for painkillers, Eric O'Flaherty, connected off the coast of Michael Stutes to make it 5-1 in the eighth. Hinske struck out against Brad Lidge for the final of the 2008 world series clinching victory in Philadelphia over Tampa Bay.
The Phillies cut to 2-1 in the third. Jimmy Rollins designated and marked Polanco two-out single to Center.
Victorino tripled and scored the single Polanco infield in the eighth to Philadelphia in 5-2. Later, Venters retires remplaceant John Mayberry Jr on a fly to Center with two runners on to end the round.
Jurrjens launched out of a first and third, one-out jam in the sixth by getting Wilson Valdez on the ground in a double game.
