Artest: Avoid NBA lockout that the costs of games

LOS ANGELES - Lakers before Ron Artest did not believe the situation of working NBA will result in a lockout NFL-style and is expected to play an early October 82 - game regular season.

"I think there will be a long lockout," Artest said Sunday night. "I do not think we are going to miss any games." In my view, there will be some negotiations but I see play us in October. I think that [NBA Commissioner] Mr. [David] Stern and the will of Mr. [Billy] Hunter [Director of the NBA Players Association] resolve. In my view, that they will learn the locking of the NFL. America is not the America without sports. You don't want to be the guy who messed up sports. ?

If there is a lockout, however, Artest is working on a second career as an actor. This summer, Artest will be the host of the "Ron Artest ultimate Comedy Tour," which currently has four shows reserved for improvisation in Hollywood, July 8-9, and four shows more at Carolina on Broadway in New York July 15-16.
