White House after the storms

AUBURN, Alabama - Auburn football team is not position in the White House this week after all.


National champions were to fly to Washington on Thursday night and then meet President Barack Obama, who is now set to travel to Alabama Friday from deadly storms that hit the State.


Auburn spokesman Kirk Sampson, said the trip has been delayed and was not rescheduled yet.


The Tigers were to participate in a "Let's's Move! South Lawn series Youth Football clinical Friday.


Auburn rode Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Cam Newton and Nick Fairley Lombardi Award winner for a 14-0 record and its first title since 1957.


Sampson, said Fairley and Newton had planned to attend the same if they were in New York for the draft Thursday night.
